Quarantine Day 49

If I’m honest, yesterday’s revelations about sex without having sex (SWHS) were a bit overwhelming. I smoked so much weed and gained so much knowledge! After a good night’s sleep, I’m back to share what I have learned. If you haven’t already, please read Quarantine Days 47 and 48 to catch up.

Let’s jump right in.

Are specific sex acts being performed?

Yes.

Some “touches” may be felt directly while others are experienced as more of an overwhelming, full body sensation. There is physical pleasure even if the person is not touching themself. As stated earlier, an orgasm is possible, either physical (ie: nocturnal emission) or energetic. This is key. There is no such thing as SWHS without pleasure.

Let’s talk about arousal. With arousal, there is physical pleasure. If one becomes sexually aroused by any of the five senses other than touch, one still feels pleasure. Have you ever become aroused and purposefully put off touching yourself for as long as possible just to see how intense that feeling can get? Now imagine you’re doing this outside and the wind causes your shirt to brush your nipple causing more physical pleasure. SWHS is like that except the wind stimulating your nipple is actually a person who is doing it intentionally and you know it.

What if two* people verbally decide on the phone to have SWHS and then hang up and touch themselves at the same time? That, I decided, is still mutual masturbation because they are thinking of each other. But what if they aren’t thinking? If both people are able to accomplish not thinking then it is indeed SWHS but I find it hard to believe that any of us are there yet.

Can you have SWHS with someone while thinking of someone else?

No. If you are thinking about the sex at all it isn’t SWHS. You are only able to energetically feel the person you’re having SWHS with.

After that, I considered SWHS in a more “intimate” way and I discovered something huge. With SWHS there is afterglow.

So anyway, that was yesterday. Today I discovered that the people at Lego are sadists. How the fuck are going to have me build a ship in the bottle when the fucking bottom of the bottle barely connects to the sides? And they want me to press all of this shit on top of a weak connection. (“Connection” is being generous.) It’s total bullshit.

Also, Ella had her first Impossible Burger and I finally found a satisfactory cabinet knob. It is $90.
