I ate yogurt for breakfast with strawberries and granola but not honey because one should have no more than two things in one’s yogurt. Aubrey spilled Mango Bai all over the balcony and I poured three green watering cans worth of water on it but the drainage system is poor. The stickiness is gathering around the most expensive and heaviest outdoor umbrella base I’ve ever bought. The first time I bought it I accidentally had it sent to Richmond and I had to return it on a dolly which is how I know for certain how heavy it is.
Today was 76 degrees and sunny. I wore socks and shoes but not make-up.
I spent the morning anticipating taking Aubrey for a haircut. When you don’t often leave the house you spend hours and even days anticipating things like haircuts. We were late anyway. He lost an inch and a half and feels like a whole new man.
I listened to the Natural Born Killers soundtrack and wondered what Juliette Lewis is up to (again.) I read Gregory Corso’s letters and Hermann Hesse’s poetry. Corso comes across more honest than Hesse which is a surprise. Hesse is still more likable.
The sun is due to set at 7:15.
